'Venus And The Moon' explores the feeling of alienation and the associated conflicts through the experiences in nature. It is also a song about the radiant and comforting forces that one can surrender to in nature. ”For me, solo hiking is somewhat comparable to a spiritual experience, where things become clearer in a larger context. I carry a small guitarlele with me on hikes, with which the skeleton of the song was born by a river in Northern Norway. The lyrics came to me in early 2023 when Venus and the Moon were 'very close' to each other in the night sky. The experience of alienation to which I refer here is not so much a feeling of being left out, but rather positioning oneself as an observer. I tend to wander aimlessly in cities and just observe how diverse life flows. I enjoy this atmosphere of boundary where separateness and connection are simultaneously present."
